Day 6 29/3/06 - Japan

Otemachi -> Ryogoku -> Tokyo -> Ginza

Highlight

• A very cold and windy day, with temperature of only 5 - 10 degrees.
• A sunny walk around the Imperial Palace. It's strange seeing this place of peace and tradition in the middle of the city.
• Seeing heaps of new buildings on the way on our bikes.
• The Sony Centre wasn't as cool as we thought. Sure there were stuff to play with, but the Playstation section is closed (in anticipation for the PS3?) and there weren't any cute girls like Alvin promised!
• Our first stand up noodle place. We had no idea what anything was, so just pointed. It was def an experience, and it was heaps better than the vending machine stall noodles.
• We stumbled upon a few very nice Japanese gardens, but have no ideas where they are situated or what they are called.
• Yeah, finally found two FREE Internet places. The one in Ginza is very cool, it's like a public library, with comfy couches, magazines (including English), and loads of vending machines. I will put in the address if I can find it.

Food

• Squid and fish in vinegar.
• Curry instant noodles (105).

• 5 bean lollies.

• Chestnut cake and Yellow bean cake.
• Tempura ramen (310).
