Day 2 25/4/11 - Italy

Acquidolce -> Tindari -> Oliveti -> Acquidolce

Highlight

• Alarm went off in the morning, so got woken up
• Very leisurely breakfast and ready time
• Drove to Acquidolce to have a look. All the shops were opened in the morning. We stocked up on food for tonight. Lots of people out and about
• Tindari – sanctuary of Black Madonna – got a bus to the top, nice views of the sandy bay from above.
• Tried to get to the beach, but we were very hungry.
• We managed to find an open restaurant for lunch and had very nice pasta.
• The gelato we got at the local was terrible though.
• Some girls were playing with us at the restaurant, they kept wanting to hold Allie, it was quite funny.
• We were planning to walk to the beach, but it started raining, so we headed back home
• The water stopped working so we couldn’t do anything – luckily we started cooking already. They couldn’t fix it so we had to use mineral water for everything.
